How long does auto glass replacement take? +

Most windshield replacements take 2-4 hours. Full replacements including adhesive curing time may take 4-6 hours depending on the vehicle model and glass type. Products & Quality

Do you use genuine Japanese auto glass? +

Yes, we source premium Japanese auto glass directly from trusted manufacturers. All our glass meets or exceeds OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications for optical clarity, strength, and UV protection. We can also provide OEM-equivalent glass for specific vehicle models. Japanese glass is known for its superior manufacturing tolerances and consistent quality.

What is the difference between Japanese auto glass and regular glass? +

Japanese auto glass is manufactured to higher quality standards with several key advantages: superior optical clarity with minimal distortion, precise dimensional tolerances for better fitment, enhanced UV protection, greater impact resistance, and better compatibility with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). It is the preferred choice for drivers who prioritize safety, clarity, and long-term durability.

What warranty do you offer? +

All our auto glass repair and replacement work comes with a clear written warranty. The warranty covers material defects and installation workmanship. Specific warranty terms vary by service type — windshield replacements, side window replacements, and heat protection film each have tailored coverage. We explain the full warranty details before any work begins so you know exactly what is covered.

What types of vehicles do you service? +

We service all types of vehicles including sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs, MPVs, trucks, vans, commercial vehicles, and buses. We specialize in Japanese vehicle brands (Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Lexus, etc.) but work with all major car manufacturers including European brands (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen) and American brands. If you are unsure, just ask us.

Heat Protection Film

What are the benefits of heat protection film? +

Our premium heat protection film offers multiple benefits: blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays, reduces interior cabin temperature by up to 40%, enhances glass shatter resistance for improved safety, reduces glare for more comfortable driving, protects your car interior from sun damage and fading, and provides added privacy. It is an excellent investment for Hong Kong's hot and sunny climate.

How long does heat protection film installation take? +

Full-car heat protection film installation typically takes 2-4 hours depending on the vehicle size and the number of windows. Individual window installation takes about 30-60 minutes per window. After installation, the film requires 2-3 days to fully cure. During this curing period, please avoid rolling down the windows and do not clean the interior glass surface.

Is heat protection film legal in Hong Kong? +

Yes, heat protection film is legal in Hong Kong provided it meets the Transport Department's light transmission requirements. The front windscreen must allow at least 70% light transmission, and front side windows must allow at least 44% light transmission. We offer a range of film options that comply with these regulations while maximizing heat and UV protection.

Repair vs. Replacement & Pricing

Can a cracked windshield be repaired or does it need replacement? +

It depends on the size, location, and severity of the damage. Small chips and cracks (typically under 3cm in diameter) can often be repaired successfully if they are not in the driver's direct line of sight. Larger cracks, damage at the edge of the glass, cracks that have spread across the windshield, or damage that affects ADAS sensors usually require full replacement. Our technicians will inspect and provide an honest recommendation — we never recommend replacement when repair is the better option.

How much does windshield replacement cost in Hong Kong? +

Windshield replacement costs vary depending on several factors: the vehicle make and model, glass type (OEM original or Japanese equivalent quality), and whether the vehicle has additional features like rain sensors, heating elements, or heads-up display (HUD) integration. Typical ranges are HKD 1,000-5,000. We provide transparent, itemized quotes before any work begins — no hidden charges.

What payment methods do you accept? +

We accept multiple payment methods for your convenience: Cash, Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard), PayMe, and FPS (Faster Payment System). All prices are in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).
